Directions, Parking, & Site Information

Arcadia Homestead is located at 4755 Anna Simpson Road Milton, FL 32583.

Parking is located along the fence, accessible parking is located along path in front of Simpson House.

Arcadia Mill is located at 5709 Mill Pond Lane, Milton, Florida 32583.

Limited parking available including grass parking along Mill Pond Lane, paved parking along the Mill Pond Lane cul-de-sac (please do not block cul-de-sac or gravel driveway entrances), and four spaces at the Visitor’s Center including one paved accessible space.

From I-10

Travel east on I-10 over the Escambia Bay Bridge and continue until FL-281 N/FL-281 S exit, Exit 22 Avalon Blvd. Turn left at the light, and continue on Avalon Blvd. for approximately 5 miles until reaching the intersection of Avalon Blvd. and Highway 90 (facing the Pensacola State College Milton Campus entrance). Turn left onto Highway 90, and turn right onto Anna Simpson Road (north) (has a designated turn lane). Continue on Anna Simpson until the intersection (T) of Mill Pond Lane and Anna Simpson Road. Turn left onto Mill Pond Lane. Follow Mill Pond Lane around a sharp curve and down the hill to Arcadia’s cul-de-sac.

From Pensacola on Highway 90

Travel east on Highway 90 toward Milton, Florida. Turn left (north) onto Anna Simpson Road (has designated left turn lane). Continue on Anna Simpson until the intersection (T) of Mill Pond Lane and Anna Simpson Road. Turn left onto Mill Pond Lane. Follow Mill Pond Lane around a sharp curve and down the hill to Arcadia’s cul-de-sac.

Site Photography

We love that people use our outdoor facilities at the mill site for photography sessions! Please abide by all site rules, do not alter the landscape in any way, and photography should be family-friendly. If it is not appropriate to do in public, it is not appropriate for our site. We ask that visitors obey hours of operation and be courteous to other guests and wildlife! Inside the museum facilities and/or at Arcadia Homestead, photography sessions are subject to a fee and must be scheduled with Arcadia Staff. 

Pet Friendly

The outdoor facilities at Arcadia Mill are pet-friendly, but visitors must observe the leash law and have their animals on a leash at all times. We also ask that you clean up after your pets! Only assistance animals are permitted to enter the Visitor's Center and Museum.

Accessibility

The majority of Arcadia Mill is wheelchair accessible including an access ramp to the Visitor’s Center and Museum with accessible restrooms, designated accessible parking at the Visitor’s Center, and an elevated boardwalk and ADA-compliant bridge.
